Selected by WBDM for its international events
Anne Masson and Eric Chevalier have collaborated since 2006. Both trained in textile design, their work results of an investigation and experiment with materials. The duo explores different possible levels of working on the design of textiles, from the raw material to the finished product and its multiple facets -sometimes on the yarn, sometimes on the pattern, on a structure, texture or on a specific shape-. They mostly deal with knitted structures and with process that reveals unexpected views of materials.
In 2014, they founded, together with Diane Steverlynck, Lænd, a signature for projects and objects. They design and produce self initiated products in the field of textile, such as exclusive bedspreads, rugs, cushions and blankets.
