From February 5 to 9, under the banner of Belgium is Design, 11 designers were able, thanks to the joint support of Flanders DC, Mad Brussels and WBDM, to present their work to international buyers of the Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair. This positioning at the heart of the Greenhouse Section, a pavilion focused on emerging talent, underlines the common desire of these brands to be part of a sustainable, ecological and artisanal approach to design.
Create works of art for the wall (Tenue de Ville), offer a poetic look at the textile creation (No More Twist), combine ethics and aesthetics in the manufacture of objects (OGSB), draw inspiration from everyday life to transform it into furniture (Nicolas Bovesse Design Studio) … This collective stand installed for a few days in the Swedish capital has made it possible for press and buyers to perceive the innovative character of these designers, all motivated by a common desire to combine new ideas and research quality in their use of material.
