The first Prix de la mode du monde arabe is now open. The prize is awarded to a fashion designer from the Arab world or its diasporas who demonstrates creative vision, cultural influence, and innovative approaches in fashion design.

The prize is initiated by the Institut du monde arabe and aims to promote and support fashion designers from the Arab world and its diasporas, celebrating cultural heritage, creativity, and innovation in fashion.

For whom?

The competition is open to fashion designers who are nationals of a country from the Arab League or part of its diasporas. It includes two categories: Emerging talent and Innovative talent.

How to apply?

Submit your application by 15.06.2025, including:

– A completed application form

– A signed copy of the rules and charter

– All documents submitted in PDF format by email to: imafashionaward@imarabe.org

Selection and prizes?

Finalists will be selected in July 2025 by a selection committee. Finalists will then be evaluated by a professional jury composed of leading figures from the fashion world in France and the Arab region.

The winners will be announced and awarded during a ceremony at the Institut du monde arabe in October 2025, at the end of Paris Fashion Week.
