At this pivotal moment for Europe’s fashion industry, the European Fashion Alliance (EFA) reaffirms its commitment to advocating for the uniqueness of European creative fashion and its economic, social, and cultural contributions. Since its founding in 2022, EFA has worked to empower the sector’s transition toward sustainability and inclusivity. Designers and creatives are already leading this charge, but achieving meaningful progress requires a legislative framework that supports small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and encourages broader industry collaboration.

Despite widespread enthusiasm for sustainable practices, many brands face barriers, such as limited resources, knowledge gaps, and workforce challenges. Overcoming these hurdles requires clear regulations, financial incentives, and investment in skills development. The European Fashion Alliance and its partners call for collective action to ensure the sector can evolve into a more ethical, innovative, and sustainable model, with creativity remaining at its heart.
