Design Parade Toulon: A Brussels based duo in the final Design - 31 May 2019

Each summer, the villa Noailles organises a Design Parade in 2 parts : in Toulon for interior design and in Hyères for design. This festival aims to to share with the public and the professionals the contemporary creation in the field of design. This year, the prestigious festival will be held from the 27th to the 30th June.

In Toulon, for its fourth edition, two new prizes are added to the ones awarded so far: the Chanel Visual Merchandising Award and the Mobilier National Award.

This year, two designers from Brussels compete for the final of the Design Parade Toulon : Sandro Della Noce, plastician and  Caroline Wolewinski, graphist.
Active in the design of objects, but also in the fields of scenography and sculpture, the duo uses 2D and 3D to reinvent the relationship to the object, its function and its position in its surroundings. Triclinium, the name of their project, is a tropical jungle where the color, bright, allows us to switch to another form of reality. The three banquettes, key elements of the project, are an invitation to idleness in a context so enchanting that it becomes unreal.
